Joan Calvert, age 90, of Chippewa Lake, Michigan, and formerly of Lansing, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1935, to Russell F. Bernard and Mary Bernard.

Joan is survived by her devoted partner in life, Eddie Thomas; her loving son Danny Ray Lemons and his wife Joni; her granddaughter Janelle Kushion and husband Adam; and her great-grandson Colin, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her loving brother Richard Bernard and his wife Marilyn, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

Joan will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
