Jennifer L. Getts, age 31 of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, February 13, 2015 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1983 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of John and Linda (Burchfield) Getts; joining her sister, Shelli, to make their family complete. Jenny graduated from the MOISD at the age of 26 in 2002. She enjoyed watching cartoons and talking to her blue baby. Jenny loved going shopping and to bingo. Jenny was always waiting with a smile and unconditional love. She will be greatly missed by her parents, John and Linda Getts of Big Rapids; a sister, Shelli Honeycutt of Rodney; a nephew and niece, Mathew and McCayla Honeycutt; a grandfather, Carl Getts; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog, Frankie. Jenny was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Ann Getts; maternal grandparents; paternal grandmother, Marlene Getts; and two uncles. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Morley American Legion Post 554. Memorial contributions may be made in Jenny's name to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home to help assist the family with expenses.
