Jennette "Jenny" M. Murray, age 56 of Barryton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born in Greenville on July 11, 1966, the daughter of Fredrick and Meradell (Stauffer) Eberlein. Jenny enjoyed being raised on a lake and her grandparents farm in Rockford. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1984. Jenny furthered her education at Jordan College in Cedar Springs where she earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration. She married Michael Murray Sr. on January 3, 2004, and they resided in several areas throughout West Michigan until they settled in Barryton in 2018. Jenny was a devoted member of Sears Church of God. She took pride in being an Elder and volunteered where she was needed. Jenny appreciated all aspects of nature and being outdoors. She planted vegetable and flower gardens, picked wild blueberries, and liked to travel to their cabin in the U.P. Jenny was a talented cook and baker, which she was able to teach and pass on to her family. Jenny looked forward to spending time with her family and her dog, Hunter. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Mike Murray Sr. of Barryton; daughter, Amy Wynn of Rockford; step-son, Michael Jr. (Josey) Murray of Hope; mother, Meradell Eberlein of Rockford; three grandchildren, Jadyn, Lynnlee, and Aryann; three siblings, Nancy (Jon) Bastian of Florida, Alan (Lori) Eberlein of Rockford, and Vincent (Karen) Eberlein of Dorr; and many nieces and nephews. Jenny was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Eberlein. Funeral Services will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Sears Church of God. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at Church. Jenny will be laid to rest at Courtland Township Cemetery in Rockford.
