Jeffrey Steve Huffman, age 35, passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at his home in Barryton. Jeff was born on October 23, 1981 in Mt. Pleasant, MI to Steve and Virginia (Benjamin) Huffman. He graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2000. Jeff was employed as a delivery driver for the Pioneer for the last several years. He loved playing the guitar, was an avid reader and when time allowed enjoyed playing tennis.

Jeff was very compassionate and cared about the wellbeing of all mankind. He will be remembered by his family and friends for being dependable and selfless. Jeff is survived by his parents, Steve (Virginia) Huffman of Barryton; siblings, Jim (Bethany) Huffman of Mt. Juliet, TN, John Huffman of Lake Isabella, and Julia (Casey) Raglin of Barryton; seven nieces and nephews, who will miss their playmate, Audrey, Luke, Lane, Hannah, Wyatt, Hadley and Hayes; paternal grandfather, Jim Huffman; maternal grandmother, Elnora Benjamin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandmother, Fern Huffman; a nephew, Bradley Huffman and Grandfather, Earl Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Pastor Gary Bryan officiating.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10th at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Jeffs name can be made to the funeral home to help cover his final expenses.
