Jean Marie Woodbury, age 64 of Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on February 12, 1953 Flint, MI to Ewald and Marion (Overton) Kremesec. Jean married Glenn Woodbury on October 25, 1973 in Mt. Pleasant. She earned a degree as a Registered Nurse from MidMichigan Community College in 1991 and was employed at The Laurels, Provincial House and at CMCH in the extended care unit until retiring in 2015.

Jean is survived by her husband of 44 years, Glenn Woodbury; children, Erica Cool of South Carolina, Glen (Missy) Woodbury and Mark Woodbury of Lake; two sisters, Marie Stromes and Sue (Jim) Muchler; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Lisa M. Woodbury; son, James E. Cool Jr.; sisters, Janet Henry and Kathleen "Ann" Plummer.

Jean was straight forward and determined. She cared for her family and was knowledgeable about medicine. Jean was an avid reader enjoyed taking photos and loved her cats and dogs.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Daggett Funeral Home with words of committal spoken by family and friends. Interment will follow at Sherman City Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daggett Funeral Home and on Monday from Noon until the time of service.
