Janice Louise Caudle, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2013 at her home in Morley. She was born on November 26, 1944 to the late Aaron and Mildred (Kindle) Archbold in Livonia, MI where she was raised. Janice graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia in 1963. Janice enjoyed spending time in Morley at the family property throughout her life and built a home there in 1985. In 1992 she made Morley her permanent residence. Janice has been the chief financial officer for Rockford Ambulance for the last 22 years. She was a member of the Morley American Legion Auxillary and enjoyed the sounds of a winning slot machine. Janice is survived her husband Ernest "Ernie" Caudle whom she married on January 22, 1999; three children, Dennis Dean and Darrin Dean of Wayne, MI and Eric (Robin) Goodwell of Big Rapids; three step-children, Tammy (Tyler) Good of Potterville, Karen Fickett of Garden City, MI and Christopher Caudle of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Sharon Masse and Linda (JJ) Nastos both of Morley; 14 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Rev. John Bookshaw officiating. Interment will follow at Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley. The family will greet friends on Sunday, December 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
