Jack L. Bryant, age 54, of Morley, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at his home. He was born October 21, 1953 in Howard City to Carroll and Stella (Frederick) Bryant. Jack was a devout member of the Stanwood Free Methodist Church. He owned and operated the Bryant Logging Company in Morley. Jack enjoyed everything that involved the out-doors, especially fishing and hunting. He is survived by his children, Jeff (Nickki) Bryant of Kalamazoo Luanne (Russell) Ferrell of Spring Lake Jeremy (Hollie) Traynor of Big Rapids Tracy Traynor of Morley Julie Traynor of Stanwood 8 grandchildren Five sisters "" Sharon (Raymond) Tatro of Baldwin Peggy (Larry) Day of Sand Lake Verna (Arden) Cousineau of Big Rapids Velma (Tom) Marquis of Presque Isle and twin, Jill Gregory of Big Rapids Several nieces and nephews Jack was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 28th, at the Stanwood Free Methodist Church with Pastor Ron White officiating. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions in Jack's name may be given to Stanwood Free Methodist Church Benevolent Fund. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at the church or may be picked at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids where arrangements were entrusted.
