Jacalyn K. Jensen, age 68 of Rodney, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her home. She was born in Big Rapids on July 13, 1955, the daughter of George and Marcella (Gilchrist) Cady. Jacalyn collected teapots, was an avid reader, and enjoyed dog-sitting. She had a big heart and was always caring for others. Jacalyn loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by four children, Pamela (Timothy) VanAlstine of Hersey, Dale McGuire of Big Rapids, Tami (Harold) Davy of Rodney, Mark (Tina Roberts) McGurie of Big Rapids; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Cindy (James) Cornell of Big Rapids, Debra Wright of Big Rapids, Brenda (Donald) Griffis of Big Rapids, Faye (Daryl) Young of Big Rapids, and Karen Wright of Hersey; sister-in-law, Tina Cady of Big Rapids; special friend Gary; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steven Jensen, and brother Brian Cady. A Memorial Gathering will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Grant Center Township Hall.
