Inez Louise Brimmer, age 67, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. She was born January 9, 1941 in Payne, Ohio the daughter of James and Maxine (Callahan) Miller. Inez married George W. Brimmer on November 3, 1968 in Sidney. She lived most of her life in the Belding and the Ionia areas. Inez had made her home in Big Rapids for the past two and one half years. She was of the Baptist Faith. Inez is survived by her sisters; Carol (husband, Steven) Wood and Peggy Beebe both of Big Rapids and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Brimmer and 2 brothers, James Lee Miller and Ernest E. Miller. Cremation has taken place and there are no public services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Inez's family and left at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids where arrangements were made.
