Ida B. Zill age 90 of Lake, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant. She was born December 23, 1920 in Lake, Michigan to Arthur and Ida Lucinda (Moore) Bazaire. Following the passing of her first husband, Garold W. St. John, Ida married Donald L. Zill on August 12, 1960 in Weidman. She retired as an LPN from the State Home in Mt. Pleasant with more than 30 years of service. Ida's supportive attitude and love of life made her easy to get along with. She put her talents of making crafts, quilting, knitting and crocheting to good use making something for everyone in her family. Ida is survived by the family she loved a bushel and a peck- her Husband of 50 years Donald L. Zill of Lake and five children: Garold L. (Sandra) St. John of Lake, Lucinda (St. John) Langworthy of Evart, Larry (Cheryl) Zill of LeRoy, Terry Zill of Lake and Kenneth Zill of Midland; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-granchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and 1 on the way. Ida is preceded in death by husband Garold W. St. John, a grandson Daniel A. St. John, 2 brothers, Lloyd and Lewis Bazaire and one sister, Thelma Baxter. Funeral services will take place 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with the Rev. Nancy CaseyFulton officiating. Spring interment will be at North Brinton Cemetery in Lake. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
