Ida "Ma" M. Sharrow, age 77 of Barryton, passed away December 28, 2009 unexpectedly at her home. She was born in Falling Timber, Pennsylvania on September 18, 1932 to Lester and Della (Rickard) Prough. As a young girl the family moved to Charlevoix. Ida married Robert Sharrow on Aug 16,1947 and they made their home in the Detroit area raising their children in Warren. In 1994 Ida and Robert moved to Barryton. Ida enjoyed crocheting, crafts, video games and was an avid reader. Her love for animals has been passed down to her children. Ida is survived by the family she adored; children; Kenneth (Carole) Sharrow of Roscommon, Janet Bocanegra of Rosenburg, TX, Sally Morton of Barryton, David (Michelle) Sharrow of Alganac, Robert (Kathy) Sharrow of Barryton, 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren plus one on the way, one sister Martha and several nieces and nephews. Ida is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Robert Sharrow on November 11, 1999 and four sisters. The family will greet friends from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix.
