Ida Linda Brown (VanConant) age 52, of Remus passed away during surgery on Sunday, May 18, 2020 in Grand Rapids. Ida was born in Mt. Pleasant to George Fall and Beatrice (Neeley) VanConant. Ida spent the majority of her life in the Remus and Barryton area. She was pretty straight forward and loved her community. Ida could be a bit of a hell raiser and always enjoyed singing karaoke and dancing. She liked to go fishing and camping, when the weather was nice or even better, a motorcycle ride or mud bog. Ida was preceded in death by her parents George VanConant and Beatrice Neeley. Step-mother, Edna Shafer and sister, Delores VanConant. Ida is survived by two children Kyle Wright and Kristy Burghardt; siblings, Gloria Kerns of Remus, Loretta VanConant of Evart and Janice Huber of Grant; two aunts, Marilyn Neely and Bonnie Brandau; nieces and nephews, Kim Shepard, Tara Shepard and Nicholas Huber; and many extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 20, 2020 at Ida's house.
