Hiram W. Ripley, age 66, of Big Rapids passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 at Spectrum Health "" Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born September 3, 1940 in Reed City to Jay and Donna (Riggs) Ripley. He married Marilyn A. Edstrom on September 9, 196l in Leroy, MI. Hiram was a member of the Jehovah's Wittnesses Kingdom Hall in Big Rapids. He loved the out-of-doors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. Hiram is survived by: his loving wife of 45 years, Marilyn One son: Randy (Glenna) Ripley Two daughters: Angela Shearer and Paula Robinson All of Big Rapids Eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren One sister: Janice Peruski of Ubley, MI Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judy Kinney. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17th at the Jehovah's Wittnesses Kingdom Hall in Big Rapids with Jack Alvey officiating.
