Helen V. Corwin age 91, of Barryton passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Skilled Nursing Facility in Reed City. She was born in Billings, Montana on September 26, 1918 to Floyd and Edna (Hatfield) McCallum. Helen is survived by three children, George Corwin of Evart, Joanne Brand of Mt. Pleasant and Nancy Johnson of Reed City; one brother, William D. McCallum of Evart, 6 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband James O. Corwin in 1980, 2 brothers and an infant sister. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. Helen was a staunch republican and in her memory memorial contributions can be given to the Republican Party. Arrangements were entrusted to Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
