Gregory L. Moore, age 63 of Traverse City, passed away peacefully Monday September 6, 2021 in Big Rapids, with family by his side. He was born May 22, 1958 in Reed City, the son of Robert L. and Patricia A. (Gawne) Moore.

Greg graduated from High School and then attended Ferris State University.

His career took him in many directions around the country. Gregs first move from Michigan was to Honolulu, Hawaii. While there he was very active running a marathon and spending time mountain biking. He never hesitated to seize a new opportunity for adventure and thrived in any setting. Greg loved meeting people and made friends wherever he went.

After several years in Hawaii, he moved back to the states to be closer to family. He settled in Traverse City, loving the area and all it had to offer.

In his all-to-brief 63 years he met many wonderful people and loved sharing stories. Greg always had a positive outlook and never had a bad word to say about people he knew.

His laughter, smiles and warm hugs will be greatly missed.

Greg is survived by his mother, Patricia Moore of Big Rapids; sister, Sherry (Bill) Erbes of Reed City; nieces, Jenna (Ryan) Bull of Chase, Jade (Doug) Dailey of Reed City; nephew, Justin (Carrie) Erbes of Reed City; great nieces and nephews, Elly, Easton, Preslee, Wesley, Cutler, Willow and many other family members including, his special uncle and friend, Gary Gawne. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Moore on May 10, 2016.

Per Gregs request services will be private.
