Obituary

Glenna L. "Big Momma" Moran, age 63 of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was born September 4, 1956, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of James R. and Betty (Young) Little. Glenna married the love of her life, Allen "Al" Moran Jr., on April 18, 1993, in Big Rapids where they made their home. Her heart was broken when he passed on January 26, 2020. Glenna was employed for 25 years with Bernies Place, retiring in November 2019. She also worked for other various restaurants throughout the area, most likely serving everyone in the community. Glenna was known for making the best Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners. She also enjoyed dabbling in the Vantel Pearl business with her daughter, Chris, opening oysters to find pearls inside. Glenna was known for contacting friends and family with Facebook messenger at all times of the night, which always brought a smile to their face. She has always had a relationship with God, but over the past year her faith strengthened. Glenna will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Betty Little of Ohio; seven children, Christina (Christopher) Anderson of Paris, Jodi (Mike) Wood of Lake Odessa, Wendy (Brian) Burlingham of Kalamazoo, Homer (Dawn) Bailey of Big Rapids, Chad (Jennifer) Gunn of Big Rapids, Justina (Michael) Games of Big Rapids, and Cassandra (Travis) Rollston of Fremont; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six siblings, Rich (Kathy) Little of Big Rapids, Ron (Nete) Little of Big Rapids, Jim (Sherri) Little of Big Rapids, Rena (Leon) Gibbs of Baldwin, Diana (Dick) Landwehr of Ohio, and Kathy (Joe) Bland of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, father, son Raymond James White, and granddaughter Sophia Games. A graveside service will take place 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Ladner Cemetery in Rogers Heights. Memorial contributions may be made in Glennas name to her family.
