Glenn E. Tribe, age 71 of Morley, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at Metron of Big Rapids. He was born May 23, 1948 in Reed City, the son of Martha Tribe. Glenn graduated from Morley Stanwood High School. He married Carolyn "Sue" Welch on June 5, 1971 in Lakeview and together they raised their family in Morley. Glenn was a semi-truck driver, worked for Sandy Land Farms, and repossessed cars throughout his working life. He enjoyed tinkering and could fix most anything. Glenn was an avid outdoorsman; hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Glenn is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn "Sue" Tribe of Morley; two children, Tracy LaChance of Morley and Greg (Amy) Tribe of Morley; six grandchildren, Dustin (Chrystine), Austin, and Lacey, Michael, Elizabeth, and Annabeth; three great-grandchildren, Maddie, Hunter, and Wayland; six siblings, Gary (Toni) Young, Kathy Yother, Mary Wolfe, James (Becky) Young, Eldon Young, and Dean Young; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Martha and Arthur Young and two brothers, Bob and Kenny Young. Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned.
