Glenn A. Rogers, age 90 of Big Rapids, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Metron of Big Rapids. He was born September 14, 1922 in Muir, the son of Jasper and Dolly M. (Babcock) Rogers. Glenn grew up in Muir. He worked as a farm hand and referred to himself as a "Jack of all trades" . He enjoyed fishing his entire life and spoke of many fishing trips on the Grand River. Even though Glenn had never married, he thought of himself as quite the ladies man and enjoyed their company. He leaves to mourn many dear friends especially, Jeanine DeLong and her family of Remus, who took Glenn into their hearts. A memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Metron of Big Rapids, 725 West Fuller Ave.
