Gladys M. Myers, age 69, of Barryton passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her daughters home in Morley where she has resided the last couple of years. Gladys was born on April 11, 1947 in Reed City to Clyde and Sarah (Bissett) Brininstool. On July 17, 1965 she married Carl C. Myers in Evart and they made their home in the Barryton area for 44 years. Gladys was employed by Evart Products and Soaring Eagle Casino.

Gladys enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards with family and friends and trying to win big at the casino.

She is survived by her loving family; two sons, Christopher (Cheryl) Myers of Spring, TX and Kelly (Stacy) Myers of Barryton; two daughters, Carolyn (Rich) Spires and Kathy Myers both of Morley; son at heart Ronnie (Linda) Myers of Sears; sisters, Joyce Jones and Louise (Ronnie) Hanninen both of Evart; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

Gladys was preceded in death by Carl in 2013; brothers, Dale and Ken; grand-daughter Kristin Spires; two infant children, Russell and Mickylyn; and her parents.

Gladys greeted family and friends on Saturday, April 30th at her home to celebrate her life prior to her passing. No services will be held.
