Geraldine Jennie Olger, age 89 of Blanchard, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in Big Rapids. She was born on July 2, 1927 in Coldwater Twp., Isabella Co., MI. Geraldine graduated from Weidman Rural Agricultural High School in 1945. She married Dewey A. Olger on June 16, 1946. They made their home in Isabella County, moving south of Remus in 1998 to be closer to her grandkids. She is survived by a daughter Joyce Conners of Lake; a son Dale (Vandra) Olger of Blanchard; five grandchildren, Steve & Matthew Conners, Michael (Laurie) Olger, Lesa (Scott) Lippert, Mendy (Todd) Keim, who took care of Geraldine for the last 5 years; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, that brought joy to her life; siblings, Jeanette Hard and Charles (Ardeen) Latham; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and endeared friends, who will continue to treasure the memories they have. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey Olger; son-in-law Danny Conners; brothers, Alvin "John" (Bettie) Latham, Chelsea (Mazie) Latham, James (Diane) Latham and brother-in-law, William Hard. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13th at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Metron of Big Rapids.
