Georgia Bauman, age 80 of Big Rapids, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home. She was born July 16, 1937 the daughter of Magnus and Lillian (Finch) Jorgensen. Georgia married Francis L. "Fritz" Bauman and together they made their home in Big Rapids. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2015 after over 50 years of marriage. She is survived by, son Allan Bauman of Big Rapids; three grandsons, Chad Bauman of Paris, Eric Kline of Big Rapids, and Ryan Bauman of Big Rapids; sister, Gaynelle (Bill) Knapp of Sheridan; two step-brothers, Brian Montague of Big Rapids, Jim Montague of NC; many nieces and nephews. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sheila Bauman, a son, Brian Bauman, brothers, Keith Jorgensen and Norman "Nels" Jorgensen, a sister, Shirley Tryon and a step-brother Bill Montague.
