Obituary

With deep sadness, the family of Geneva Miller announces her peaceful passing on her 72nd birthday, September 11, 2026. Geneva was a beloved resident of Morley, Michigan, cherished for her warmth, kindness, and dedicated spirit.

A devoted homemaker, Geneva dedicated her life to raising her three sons with love and care. Geneva found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a knack for creating beautiful gardens that were a testament to her love for nature. A lover of music, she enjoyed countless evenings of karaoke and line dancing, sharing laughter and creating memories with friends and family. Her competitive spirit was also evident in her enjoyment of bowling.

Geneva is survived by her children: Tim (Terri), Dennis (Theresa), and Andrew (Sreykea); her grandchildren: Justin, Courtney, Timmy Jr., Levi Arnold, Kasie, D.J., Alyssa, Duane, and Andy Jr.; and her great-grandchildren: Karter, Eliyanna, Isaac, Levi, and Parker. Geneva is also survived by her siblings, Ben, Maxine, Cindy, Patsy, and Beverly, along with numerous cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen Miller, her mother, Ruby Simpson, and her brothers, William and Gary Palmer.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home, Big Rapids, Michigan, on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service to honor Geneva's life will be held on the following day, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital in Geneva's memory, reflecting her compassionate heart and dedication to helping others.
