Frederick Curtiss Draher, age 45, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday, June 2, 2008. He was born on October 27, 1962 to Arthur and Dawn (Gallinger) Draher in Norfolk, Virginia. He spent the majority of his life in Mecosta County graduating from Chippewa Hills High School in 1980. He was honorably discharge from the U.S. Army which he was very proud of. For 15 years Fred lived his childhood dream while working on the oil rigs. He for High Lean Pork in Barryton for 6 years until his health declined. Fred will be remembered by his family and friends for his good heart and funny personality. The love he had for the information a television could bring and the enjoyment of watching football are also characteristic of Fred. He enjoyed working, watching the news, fishing and spending time socializing friends. Fred is survived by three children and their mother: Darrell Draher of Barryton, Jacilyn Draher of Barryton, Ted Treloar of Ferndale and Claudia Draher of Flint, 5 grandchildren who he adored: Devon and Klo Snyder, Braeden Treloar, Trent and Emma Tirban, seven brothers and sisters; Leanne, Bill, Art, Vincent, George, Wilma and Christine, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dawn. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. on Thursday the 5th with visitation two hours prior (4p.m. to 6p.m.) at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Memorials in Fred's name may be left at the funeral home.
