Frederick J. Johnson born January 8, 1928 in Cadillac, began his eternal healthy life on June 26, 2006 at the age of 78. While surrounded by his family, he went to be with his loved ones waiting for him in heaven. Fred loved living at Tubbs Lake in Mecosta, Michigan after his retirement from General Motors. Fred was preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Minnie Johnson, wife Bernadine, long time companion Edith Kelley, and Sister Vivian Sharkey. He is survived by his family that will always have him in their hearts: Children: Linda (Robert) Ward of Clare Kerri (James) Harris of Harrison Frederick B. Johnson of Austin, TX Sandy (Peter) Bepler of Dewitt Sister: Evelyn (Walt) Hacker Former wife and friend: Barbara Johnson of Haslett Nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one nephew. Loving his family and helping others was Fred's life. Funeral Services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday June 30th, 2006 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. The family will greet friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
