Franklin F. Bissett, age 64 of Sears, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was born May 3, 1953 in Evart, the son of Fredrick and Helen (Moot) Bissett. Frank married Rose Marie Johnson on December 4, 1972 and they made their home in the Barryton area where they raised their family. In 1993 Frank and Rose made Sears their permanent home where he and his son Fred established F&B Stump Grinding.

Frank was a character with a big heart. He was a family man and sharing time with family and friends brought him great joy. Frank looked forward to his morning coffee time at Williams Caf, stirring the pot amongst friends. He was an avid hunter and spent time hunting with his kids, grandchildren and hunting buddies. He loved camping at Moron Meadows and raced USA Figure Eight Demolition Derby throughout the state.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Rose of Sears; five children, Tina (Wayne Daggy) Bissett of Sears, Frank Jr. (Jamie) Bissett of Chippewa Lake, Fred (Wendy) Bissett of Lakeview, Carrie (Verlon) Cole of Barryton and Mike (Tammy Heitkamp) Bissett of Marion; sixteen grandchildren, four great-grand-daughters who he adored; two brothers, one sister and their families; extended family and friends; and his lifelong hunting friends; who will all continue to hold the memories they have close to their hearts.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.

The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Interment will follow at the East Fork Cemetery. In celebration of his life, following the graveside service, there will be a memorial luncheon at the Barryton Community Building.
