Frank Christie, of Mecosta, passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born on July 22, 1947 to Chris and Eleanor (McLeod) Christie.

Always with a positive attitude and sharp mind, Frank was a man who could make anyone smile. Despite limitations, he was brave and strong, and he would help anyone who needed it. The simple joys of life made Frank the happiest: hunting, fishing, playing cards, reading doing crossword puzzles, and listening to music, were some of his favorite pastimes. Frank was even known to put together mixtapes for those closest to his heart. His love for family and for God were infinite.

Frank is survived by his daughter: Jackie (John) Dommer; sister: Connie Michaels; friend: Kathy Ensing; as well as many friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings, Ron Christie and Claudia Christie.

Arrangements are in the care of Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes, Big Rapids. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will take place two hours earlier at 12:00 PM on the same day. Frank will be laid to rest in Martiny Township Cemetery.
