Francis "Frank" Ball, 89, of Paris, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 to be reunited with his wife on their 70th wedding Anniversary. He was born January 5th, 1935 to William and Della (Smith) Ball, the second of three children. Frank graduated from Cooley High School in 1954, and on April 24th of that year, he married his loving wife Jeneva Mae (Sine) Ball. Together they made their home in Detroit before moving to Paris, Michigan in 1970. He was an active member of the Paris Trailblazers Club and the Big Rapids Eagles Aerie #2535. He enjoyed bowling for several years, and later in life, playing cards, traveling, and visiting friends and family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his brother William Ball, his wife Jenny; a son, Allan; daughter, (Laurene); and son-in-law, Jeff Davis. He is survived by his sister, Lila (Ball) Virta; sons, Dennis (Donna) Ball, Donald (Deb) Ball; daughters, Kathryn (Tom) Koneska, and Ann Davis (Doug Bell); 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Reverend Jo Bell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1st from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, all at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at Crapo Cemetery in Paris, MI. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to Folds of Honor, Michigan Chapter.
