Florence A. "Flo" Clark, age 102 of Big Rapids, formerly of Grand Haven, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. She was born January 1, 1913 in Tower, MI the daughter of Charles and Jenny (Mills) Schoolcraft. Flo married Edwin Clark and together they made their home in the Paris area. They later moved to Owosso where they owned and operated a Gas Station and General Store. Flo was employed by the Owosso Public Schools for over 20 years, retiring as the cafeteria manager. Following the death of her husband in 1972, Flo moved to Grand Haven to live until returning to the Big Rapids area to be near her family. She is survived by her son, Ken Clark of Hersey; two daughters, Beverly Morrow, Sally (Richard) Tarolli all of Highpoint, NC; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Wydeck of Baldwin and many nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin Clark, an infant son Edwin Clark; a sister, Vera Chessey; three brothers, Harvey, LaVern, and Al Schoolcraft. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Bruce Peterson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at West Haven Cemetery in Owosso.
