Flora M. "Flo" Patteson, age 85 of Canadian Lakes, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was born on October 2, 1936, in Chicago where she was raised. Flo was the daughter of the late John and Antonette (Santilli) Fiore. She married James Patteson on February 15, 1958, in Chicago where they raised their family. Flo was employed by Kodak as a Camera Repairwoman for 26 years. Following retirement, she and James moved to Canadian Lakes. Flo liked to clean and was a grudgingly good cook with her specialty being Italian Gravy. Flo was known for her charitable heart. She was raised Catholic and learned to follow her faith in her own way. Flo enjoyed her Canadian Lakes community; where she was an actress in several plays and looked forward to playing a round of golf. Flo had a special place in her heart for her cats Sweet Pea and Baby. She is survived by her son Brian Patteson of Canadian Lakes; two grandchildren, Rachel Harrison of North Carolina and James Kopetchny of Canadian Lakes; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Flo was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Janet and her husband Bobby Brown, and her brother John Fiore. Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned. Per Flos request, she wanted everyone to have a glass of Merlot in her honor. Memorial contributions may be made in Flos name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
