Fay Albert Tice, age 75, formerly of Brighton, MI, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant. Fay was born on February 7, 1938 in Coldwater Twp., Isabella Co., MI to Albert and Mae (Geasler) Tice. He graduated from Hartland High School in 1956. On August 20, 1960 Fay married Geraldine "Geri" Suminski and they made their home and raised their family in Brighton where he worked at the Rawsonville Ford Plant. Fay retired in 1997. Fay looked forward to spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, wood working, traveling and playing cards with neighbors. Fay is survived by his wife of 53 years Geri; two children, Raymond Tice and Teresa Tice; three sisters, Loanna Grubb, Jeanette (Robert) Savage and Sharon (Mike) Marvin and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Fay was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Cora Kline and Helen Dunning. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Brother John Houghton officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Fay's name may be made to Woodland Hospice, 2597 S. Meridian Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858.
