Ernestine L. Robart, age 79 of L. Lakes, near Baldwin, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her home. She was born July 27, 1928 in Chase Township the daughter of Ralph and Nellie (Leaird) Cecil. She married Ronald E. Robart on July 20, 1947 and together they made their home in Illinois for nearly 40 years. Following retirement they returned to the area, where they have lived since 1988. Ernestine was a devout member of the Reed City Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 60 years, Ronald Four children; Karen (Kenneth) Jordi of Colorado Springs Ronald Robart of Waukegan, IL Linda (Imad) Mustafa of Grand Blanc Carole (David) Kamensky of Mundelein, IL Eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren Two brothers; Albert Cecil of Oklahoma Donald (Arlene) Cecil of North Muskegon A sister; June (Frank) Dombrouski of Irons and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by a sister, Mary. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2nd at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene, 5300 220th Avenue, with Pastor Chris DeMott officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 1st at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Lake Co., IL at a later date. Memorial contributions in Ernestine's name may be made to the Reed City Church of the Nazarene and directed to Children's Ministries.
