Erdmund O. Strom Sr. age 87, died unexpectedly, Monday, May 1, 2023 at his home in Barryton. He was born October 27, 1935 in Mayville, North Dakota, the son of Charly and Myrtle (Arnegaard) Strom. Erdmund graduated from Mayville High in 1953. After graduation he worked in a factory for five years before starting his 35-year career as a roofer. He enjoyed singing, whistling, fishing and cooking for family picnics. He loved to spend time with family, teasing his grandchildren, and being a big jokester. Erdmund was always happy and liked by everyone who met him. Erdmund is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Beverly; children, Erdmund (Penny) Strom Jr, Cherryl (Bruce) Campbell, Renay (Chris) Kline, Craig (Lennia) Strom, Rosenn Strom; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Larose Lott. Care and arrangements by Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
