Eleen J. Hall, age 92, a longtime resident of Morley, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was the daughter of Swan and Philenna (Golder) Anderson. Eleen worked in Grand Rapids and was a very active member of the Morley community. She was a life member of American Legion Post # 554 Ladies Auxiliary of Morley, where she had served as President and was active at the Morley Senior Center. She is survived by her two daughters, Lola (Donald) Rek of South Carolina, Sandra Ellison of Stanwood; grandchildren, Edmund (Dawn) Rek, Brian (Casey) Rek, Marcie Ellison, Monica (Ed Clemons) Ellison, Melissa Ellison, Chad (Jessica) Ellison; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Rek, Ramsey Rek, Malick Clemons; many nieces and nephews. Eleen was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, two half-brothers, one half-sister and a son-in-law, Donald Ellison. Funeral services will take at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Stanwood Free Methodist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at The Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley. Memorial contributions in Eleens name may be made to Spectrum Home Hospice.
