Elaine Joy Wynn, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. She was born on February 19, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Rueben and Sylvia Blaha.

Elaine graduated from the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music. On June 8, 1968, she married the love of her life, Ronald P. Wynn. Together they built a beautiful life, sharing 54 wonderful years of marriage before Ronald's passing in 2022.

Elaine was a devoted and faithful pastor's wife who poured her heart into serving her church family. She especially loved teaching Sunday School, writing and directing plays, and organizing programs for the congregation at Deerfield Bible Church. Arts and crafts, puppet shows, Vacation Bible School, and church productions were among her greatest joys. Whatever she did, Elaine did wholeheartedly and with love.

Elaine is survived by her children, Lori Wynn and David (Teri) Wynn; her grandchildren, Leah, Daniel, and Elijah; and her step-grandchildren, Gina (Eric) Rickert, Alec (Bridget) Crumb, and Ryan (Madison) Crumb.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald, and her parents.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Deerfield Bible Church, Morley. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Elaine will be laid to rest alongside Ronald at Boyd Cemetery in Morley.
