Edward R. Kelley, age 69 of Stanwood, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, on March 12, 2011. He was born October 20, 1941 in Chicago, IL the son of William and Dorothy (Jackson) Kelley. Ed was a 1960 graduate of Big Rapids High School. He married the former Tina VanBrocklin on June 27, 1982 at their home in Stanwood. Ed will be remembered as a well known musician throughout the area. He is survived by his loving wife Tina Kelley of Stanwood, 3 children, John Kelley of White Cloud, Andy (Brenna) Kelley of Big Rapids, Dorothy Shilling of Stanwood; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Kelley, Tony Kelley, Rylee J. Kelley, Jordon Shilling, Charles David Post II and several nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Tom Kelley and a son-in-law, Brad Shilling. There will be no public services.
