Edward E. Bush, age 72 of Morley, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday April 6, 2024. He was born May 1, 1951 in Greenville and raised near Stanwood. Ed graduated from Morley-Stanwood High School and soon after, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War as a Lance Corporal. Following his honorable discharge Ed held several different jobs including a prison guard at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, Washington. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially exploring the Great Rocky Mountains, he also loved to hunt and fish. Ed is survived by a large and loving family including his three children, Michelle (Joseph) Higgins of Evart, Rich (Sarah) Bowers of Morley, Trisha Landreth of Edmore; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Tonda White of Sparta, Connie (Bruce) Whipple of Morley, Rick Bush of Morley, Penny Jesko of Big Rapids, Michael (Jan) Creighton of Stanwood; 13 nieces and nephews, Candy (Gary Routley) Whipple, Bruce Whipple Jr., Rocky (Nichole) Peacock, Elvis (Paula) Peacock, Russell (Pattie) Peacock, Jennie (John) Cain, Scottie (Gloria) Creighton, Bernita Mae (Bruce Avery) Ringler, Timothy (Melissa) Hopkins, Robin (Scott) Miller, April Hopkins, Ronnie (Julie) Creighton, Chrissy Creighton, Mandie (Chris) Dewey, Robbie (Tammy) Ringler, and Cindy (Tonda) Creighton-Dow. Also surviving are several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and cousins. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edward O. Bush and Kathleen M. (Hilliker) Schofield and Bernita Bush; a granddaughter, Jennie Bell Bowers; two nephews, Gary Creighton and Derrick Cogswell; sisters, Bonnie Sue Bush, Patsy Ringler and her husband Lyle Ringler, a brother Ronald Creighton and sister-in-law, Artie Creighton.
