Eddy Derevage, 66, of Rodney, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1958, in Big Rapids, the son of Edsel and Rosalie (Powell) Derevage.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Eddy had a knack for fixing just about anything—right or wrong, if there was a will, there was a way. With all his stubbornness came an undeniable love and respect for his family and friends. Though he had a rough and tough exterior, those who knew him best understood that he had a kind and caring heart.

Eddy loved to laugh, have the last word, and was always up for a good card game—especially Euchre. His family and friends will fondly remember him as the man who would give you the shirt off his back, complain about it later, and then do it all over again.

He is survived by his significant other of 30 years, Lindy Ensing; his children, Brian (Jill), Joe (Brooke), Josh (Mandy), and Brittany (Tom); his grandchildren, Andrew, Olivia, David, and Isabella; his siblings, Michelle and Mark; and his beloved dog, Mazie May. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and cherished friends.

Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, his son Shawn, and his brother Matt.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Rodney Cemetery in Rodney, Michigan. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
