Duain L. Moore, 74, of Morley passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Zephyrhills, Florida. He was born on May 15, 1947 in Mancelona, the son of Ben and Eula (Fredrick) Moore. He worked over 40 years as a charter bus driver, often talked about all the places he went and people he met along the way. Duain loved spending time with his grandchildren making memories. He loved John Deere antique tractors, tractor shows and enjoy buying and selling at flea markets in retirement. He also loved spending the winters in Zephyrhills, Florida with Lois. He is survived by his wife, Lois McKelvey; his children, Mark (Becky) Moore, Curt (Dawne) Moore and Randy (Cathy) Moore; seven grandchildren, Christopher Moore, Thomas (Leah Vanderwal) Moore, Ashley (Terry) Cour, Jason Moore, Allison (Matt) Sawyer, Jacki (Max Booms) Sheaffer and Stephanie Moore; three great-grandchildren, Allie, Brynlee, and Talon; siblings, Dale (Pam) Moore, Mary (Bob) Parker, Shirley Moore; step-children, Melissa (Brian) Charron and Matthew McKelvey; step-grandchildren, Zach (Taylor) Charron, Garrett (Alexis) Charron, Marcus and Mara McKelvey, and Grace VanRijs; and former wife Jan (Michael) Creighton. Duain was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Eula Moore, brothers Carl Moore Sr., Charles Moore, Fred Moore, sister, Joyce Coulson and sister-in-law Reta Moore. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Saturday.
