Dorothy M. Szparaga, age 88, formerly of Warren, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Big Rapids. She was born September 1, 1929 in Dearborn the daughter of Hugh and Nellie (McPeak) OHara. She married Arnold Szparaga and they made their home in the Warren area. Dorothy moved to the Big Rapids area in 2012 to be near family. She is survived by four children, Karen (David) Johnson of Burtchville Twp., MI, Sharon L. Blum of Big Rapids, Rosemary Taylor of Chesterfield Twp., MI, Michael (Louise) Szparaga of Roseville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a sister Patricia Bloom of Florida. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold in 1995 and a daughter, Barbarann Grayewski in 2011.
