Dorothy Elizabeth (Spedowski) Miller, 85 of Evart passed away peacefully on October 15, 2021 with family by her side. Dorothy was born on the family farm in Stanwood, on April 23, 1936 to Joseph and Catherine (ONeil) Spedowski. Together, with her great Catholic faith, Dorothy was well known for her meticulous sewing abilities and being the best baker around. She is survived by daughters; Janet (Gary) Adams, Susie (Bob) Hogg, Annette (Mike) Walters and son, Mike (Becky) Byrnes. Grandchildren; Jeremy (Ange) Byrnes, Mitchell (Ashley) Byrnes, Amy (TJ) Hebert, Mollie (Allan Zebrowski) Hogg, Amanda (Justen) Brown, Kelli (Craig) Elder, Jennifer (Dustin) Langworthy and Matthew Adams. Great-grandchildren; Trayor & Dallas Langworthy, Norah Zebrowski, Keira & Carson Elder, Emma & Lucas Byrnes, Jase Hebert, Madalynn, Allan & Maggie Brown, Kinsley, Gracelyn and Beau Byrnes. Dorothy is also survived by brothers; Robert Spedowski, Earnest (Hilda) Spedowski, Edward (Dorothy) Spedowski, Henry (Vicki) Spedowski and John (Jayne) Spedowski; sisters, Doreen (Duane) Yarrington, Barbara (Wayne) Cornell, Bonnie (Bill) Burden, Beverly Strait, Louise Spedowski; sisters-in-law, Lois Spedowski, Janet Spedowski and Eleanor Spedowski. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Tom, Richard and Jim Spedowski Mass of Resurrection will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 30, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Big Rapids with Father Jegar Fickel officiating; the family will greet friends one hour prior to Mass. On Friday, October 29th Dorothys family will also greet friends at St. Mary Catholic Church from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
