Donna R. Krum, age 78 of Stanwood, passed away Saturday February 5, 2022. She was born September 21, 1943 in Lakeview the daughter of Arnold W. and Helen B. (Scott) Sharp. She married Jerry M. Krum at the Higbee Church on October 1, 1960 and they made their home in the Stanwood area. Donna was employed by Wolverine World Wide in both Big Rapids and Rockford, retiring as an Industrial engineer in 2005. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and baking special occasions cakes for family and friends. Most important in Donnas life was her family but her grandchildren had her heart. Donna is survived by her four children, Brian (Brenda) Krum of Canadian Lakes, Kim (Troy) Johnson of Ruskin, FL, Naomi (Glenn) Cawley of Saginaw, Jeri Jo (Daniel) Rolston of Howard City; 13 grandchildren, Tony (Jodi) Gatehouse, Nick (Sara) Schoner, Sarahmae Howe, Keri (David) Ruhling, Jayson (April) Krum, Bill (Brianne) Krum, Heather (Josh) Matthews, Danny (Sarah) Matthews, Robyn (Jake) Jones, Adam Cawley, Elizabeth (David) Scarborough, Cody (Heather) Ellison, Kailey (Quinton) Hoolihan; 21 great-grandchildren, Damian Howe, Lillian Ruhling, Lylla Ruhling, Davie Ruhling, Jaedyn Krum, Myli Krum, Koda Krum, Emmalie Krum, Elijah Krum, Emilee Schoner, Arabella Jones, Henry Jones, Miles Scarborough, Stella Scarborough, Zane Ellison, Cheyanne Ellison, Aurora Ellison, Madelynn Hoolihan, Uriah Hoolihan, Parker Gatehouse, Maizey Gatehouse and one on the way Also surviving is her sister, Joyce White of Mecosta; brother, Richard (Barbara) Sharp of Mecosta, brothers-in-law, Larry and Diane Krum of Greenville, Richard and Bonnie Krum of Capac; sister-in-law, Carol Krum of Mt. Clemens; several nieces, nephews, and friends including her special friend, Patti Louck. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Krum, her parents, 2 brothers-in-law, Larry White, Terry Krum, nephew, Jeff Godbold and in-laws, Merle and Cleo Krum. Funeral services will take place 12:00 p.m. (noon), Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Chaplain Daniel Pflug officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 10th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Higbee Cemetery near Morley.
