Donna Claire (Daggett) Early, age 96, formerly of Barryton, Michigan, passed away in California on June 4, 2015. The eldest of three children, she was born on December 29, 1918, in Rockford, MI, the daughter of Jenny V. (Wingard) and Thomas C. Daggett. Donna graduated from Remus High School, in 1937. During WWII she worked at Willow Run in Ypsilanti where she met Thomas Edwin "Ed" Early. After they were married, they moved to Ed's home state of California and raised their three sons in Concord, California. After their retirement, they moved to Barryton, Michigan where Donna worked for Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency, sold real estate for Rose Johnson Realty and was an active member of the Barryton Methodist Church. In 2010, Donna moved back to California to be closer to her sons and their families. She is survived by two sons, Matt (Laurie) Early of Brentwood, CA and Dan (Michelle) Early of Stockton, CA, daughter-in-law Beth Early of Colorado Springs, CO, eight grandchildren; Stephen, Danielle, Brian, Jason, Jennie Ann, Thomas, Robert, Melanie and six great grandchildren, Andrew, Anthony, Josiah, Arianna, Nova and Norah plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 1988, son Tim in 2007, brother George Daggett in 1998, sister Phyllis O'Hara in 1993 and brother-in-law Robert O'Hara in 1990.
