Donna J. Cone, age 68 of Lakeview, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024. She was born March 14, 1956 in Lansing the daughter of Julia May Warner. Donna was raised in Lansing and lived there until the early 80s. She moved to Greenville and soon after returned to Lansing to live. Donna next moved up to Sparta and eventually made her home in Lakeview where she has lived for the past 15 years. Donna loved animals, especially her grand dog, Yoda. She enjoyed the TV shows, The Animal Planet and The Incredible DR. Pol. She liked to take walks, drink coffee, tea and in her younger years, knitting for family and friends. Donna is survived by her beloved family including her daughter, April (Jeremy) Bradley, of Lakeview; grandchildren, Britney Bradley of Lakeview, Dalton Bradley of Edmore, Eathan Bradley, and Alice Bradley both of Lakeview; a sister, Brenda Martin; two brothers, Jeff (Carol) Secord, Joseph Cone all of Lansing and several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Warner when Donna was a baby, her adopted mother, Wanetia Matthews and a sister, Penny Smith. A Celebration of Life will take place 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Townline Lake Park in Lakeview. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Donnas name may do so to her family.
