Donald Wayne Stewart Jr., 66, of Big Rapids, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on June 27, 1958, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he worked aboard a submarine. He took great pride in his military service. After his time in the Navy, Donald followed his passion for driving, embarking on a career as a truck driver. Whether professionally or during trips with friends, he was always eager to take the wheel. Donald loved the outdoors and spent countless hours working on his vehicles, a hobby he truly enjoyed. Known for his strong-willed nature, Donald was loyal to those he called friends and would go to great lengths for them. His beloved dog, Thor, was his constant companion and best friend. Donald is survived by Thor and several close friends who will miss his friendship. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at a later date.
