Donald F. Schultz, age 76 of Big Rapids, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at Spectrum Butterworth in Grand Rapids. He was born April 11, 1932 in Detroit the son of Harold and Viola (Hull) Schultz. Donald was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. Following his retirement he moved to Big Rapids where he has lived for over 22 years. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn (Norbert) McDonald of Stanwood. 2 sons, Michael Schultz of Charlotte, NC and Robert Schultz of Hart, 6 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter A brother, Richard (Mary) Schultz of Taylor and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen on November 1, 2003. Private family services will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
