Donald Wesley Jamieson, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on March 5, 2026. The son of John and Gladys (Brown) Jamieson, he was born December 9, 1942.

Donald spent 65 years with the love of his life Shirley Marie (Yelland) Jamieson, and together they built a life full of endless love, adventure, and laughter. He was an avid outdoorsman, and you could always find him fishing, hunting, or trapping game. He was happiest operating heavy equipment, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren. Especially giving them boat rides out on the lakes. He was extremely loved, and the love he shared with his family will never be forgotten.

Donald is survived by his loving wife Shirley; children, Paula (Skylar) Worley, Joleen (Daryl) Brigner, Donald (Michelle) Jamieson Jr., and Sandy (Brian) Gatehouse; numerous very loved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as his brother Bob (Kay) Jamieson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Gene Jamieson; son Paul Jamieson; and his grandson Joshua Jamieson whom he thought the world of.
