Donald Roy Hazen, born May 6, 1929 in Sandusky Michigan, the oldest son of Roy and Loretta (Mercer) Hazen, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt Pleasant, Michigan. Donald was a life-long Farmer in Sandusky, Grand Blanc, Shepherd, Eaton Rapids and Barryton, Michigan. Services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010, 12:00 noon at the Barryton Church of God, 20244 M-66, north of Barryton, with Pastor Darwin Mowat officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 18th from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Pine Grove Tabernacle, M-66 and Garfield Rd., Remus. Burial will take place 1:00 PM, Sunday at Moore Township Cemetery, Sanilac Co. Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the children ask for support for their Mother Jean. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daggett Funeral Home, Barryton. Donald leaves His wife of 61 years, M. Jean (Stenke) Hazen. Children: Ronald and Roberta Hazen, Deborah and Delbert Erwin, Michael and Terry Hazen, Fred and Kathy Hazen, Dawn and Dale Barber, Vicki and Jerry Nunn, Susie and Dick Goodman, Sandy and Jim Brown, Tom Teague and Ed Teague. Grand Children Theresa David, Carrie Hazen, Jessica & Mike Roberts, Nate & Amy Hazen, Sam Hazen, Jane Boyden, William & Courtney Erwin, Rebecca & Tyler Flachs, Levi & Kaye Hazen, Luke & Samantha Hazen, Ashley & PJ Doerr, Jennifer Hazen, Melinda Hazen, Erik Barber, Melissa Wright, Barbie Shock, Debbie Bryant, Mike Bryant, Debbie Rogers, Kim Brown, Terry Brown, Rhonda & Brad Holden, Ken & Michelle Goodman, Chris & Bev Diehl, Christy Pieron, Mariah & Rob Naples.
