Donald L. Dreyer, age 79 of Big Rapids formerly of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids on February 21, 1941, the son of the late Peter and Anna (Compaan) Dreyer. Don was honorably discharged from the United States Naval Reserves. He married Charlene Parrott on June 15, 2002 in Newaygo where together they made their home. Don enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Charlene Dreyer; step-children, David DeKorte, and Andrea (Carlos) Caraballo-Moran; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine (Richard) Strating and Barb Dreyer; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in Spring of 2021. The Dreyer family is being cared for by the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
