Donald Lee Cole Jr., age 39, passed away very unexpectedly Saturday, April 29, 2006. He was born May 11, 1966 in Big Rapids. Don was a supervisor in the road construction industry. He had been living and working in Nevada for over 20 years. Don loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by, His wife Grace, son Kyle Cole and step-son, Chad Ledbetter all of Henderson, NV Two daughters; Amber and Stacey of Wisconsin Mother; Jeanne (ne'e Cooley) Sutherland of Big Rapids Father; Donald L. Cole Sr. of Canby, OR Three brothers; Dean (Ralen) Cole of Mesick Bruce Jr. (Cathy) Sutherland of Mecosta Craig Cole of Canby, OR Sister; Kim (Russ) Bordine of Big Rapids His lifelong and dear friend; Paul Porter of Big Rapids And many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins Don was preceded in death by his step-father, Bruce Sutherland Sr. in 1993. Graveside funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 8th at Pine Plains Cemetery, Colfax Township, Big Rapids. Memorial contributions may be given to his family or left at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids where arrangements were made.
