Donald L. Battle Jr., age 59 of Weidman, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2018. He was born in Ann Arbor, on April 3, 1959, to the late Donald Sr. and Pearl (Davy) Battle. Donald was raised in Weidman and graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 1978. He enjoyed building bridges and retired from E.T. MacKenzie in 2016. Donald loved fishing, hunting and taking full advantage retirement.

Donald is survived by two sons, Donald (Nichole Martin) Battle III of Mt. Pleasant and Dewitt Battle of Weidman; three siblings, Craig (Victoria) Battle of Mount Pleasant, Brian (Sherry) Battle of Weidman, Barbara (Lucian) Greco of Punta Gorda, FL; five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.A memorial service will take place from 1:00pm 4:00 pm Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Weidman Community Hall. Contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses.
